Life is like a dream…so what would you do if you somehow get to know (when u r asleep and dreaming) that u r in a dream now. Even if this is a haunting dream u will enjoy it to the fullest.
If you know it's a dream u will do what makes u happy..
Like any other creature, We don't have any control over our birth and possibly over death too(taking suicidal cases as exceptions..).. Life is just a journey we are going through, to reach from our source to destination aka death..
Difference between a living and a non-living thing is only this that a living thing as a whole acts as an entity and it knows and possibly does whatever it can to help grow itself while a non-living thing will not..
Apart from our basic physical needs, which our body asks for itself even when we are in nascent stage of life.. everything else has been created by external factors from family, environment, society etc etc..
There is a theory from famous pschycoanalyst Freud...
That every person has a child in itself(using "it" as his/ him/ her are also created by us for distinguishing between living n non-living things) which will ask whenever and whatever it wants.. it is called "Id"
Second thing is one's "ego" .. Every body has a perceived personality for itself.. For me, Mr. XXX is a personality which has certain traits and I know it belongs to me more than anything can.. So I care about that personality and If there is something My "Id" asks me to do , I won't do if my ego says that Mr. XXX the personality should not be doing it..
Third thing is one's superego... that is social pressures created on us.. There are certaing things we will do when we are alone but we won't be doing them in public as we know we are not supposed to do these things in public.. here superego surpasses ego and Id..
These are our external factors only which force us to think that this is success or this is better or this is what we should be achieving.. But ultimately we all are not doing anything more than passing our time through ageing towards our destination i.e. death.
We are so concerned about achieving something in life, being successful and consequently feel pressure to acquire fame, power or money.. but all these things have been created by external factors only.. we say that we have progressed now.. today people are able to afford more luxury than they were able to, 40 years back.. but does that mean we are better now.. People 40 years ago would also have been happy right?..
We target for something, We put our best effort to achieve that and we feel sad when we don't get it.. but probably the aim should not be to achieve something.. one should be doing those things or in a manner in which he/she feels happy doing that thing itself... because this way when u reach at the end, u already had ur part of fun reaching there.. so even if u lose u have gained something out of it..
When Geeta says Karm karo phal ki chinta nahi.. they probably meant it this way..
One should remember that there is nothing like success, achieving anything.. we are in a journey now it is on us how we would like to pass the time.. you feel sad or happy, anyhow time will pass.. so it's better to choose it the better way.. Do things you feel u would like to do... experience life at its fullest..
We are all in boots of Vinay Pathak in Dasvidaniya.. Clock is running fast ; the more u can experience life is the measurement of it.. even if you can not.. then also time is going to be passed..
So rather than getting worried for future or questions like..'Where will we land up.?..we should be putiing our best effort at any time as per the inputs at that moment and try not to regret if you don't get something..Understand this is MAYA only and we are just passing our time. so it's okay and move on...
In this Matrix, the successful people(as per MAYA's rules) are those only who are too busy to be looking for it..
Just do your work, feel happy and rest will follow..
Main akela hi chala tha, zindagi ki raah mein,,
